A variety of systems are available to ensure the comfort of the user, whatever the ambient conditions.
The Hughes AIRgen (pictured) is a mobile heater that provides warm air to mobile decontamination shelters. Mounted on wheel, the unit has handles front and back for easy manoeuvrability. It has a closed combustion chamber and a detachable, insulated exhaust stack. With over 15 hours running on a single tank of fuel the new AIRgen is ready to respond to any emergency. Hot air passes from the heater to the shelter through an extendable and flexible fire retardant ducting. A thermostat can be fitted in the shelter to monitor the temperature and control the heater output.
Ventilation Systems
Various ventilation fans are available with electrics to suit available power. These fans allow an efficient movement of air within a decontamination unit and avoid the dangerous build up of gasses or vapours.
