Hughes Safety Showers' Managing Director Tony Hughes shall be
racing his Ginetta G50 this year in the following races:

3 / 4 April              Thruxtron
24 / 25 April           Rockingham
1 / 2 May               Brands Hatch (Grand Prix circuit)
5 / 6 June               Oulton Park (Island circuit)
19 / 20 June           Croft BARC
7 / 8 August           Snetterton
21 / 22 August       Silverstone (National circuit)
4 / 5 September     Knockhill BARC
18 / 19 September Donington Park
9 / 10 October       Brands Hatch (Indy circuit)
Those in red are races Tony is unsure he will be attending.


The Ginetta G50 Championship features alongside the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and both are covered extensively by ITV4, with the live events and a highlights show now being shown on race weekends. It was announced on 3rd February ITV is upping its coverage of the BTCC meaning it is highly likely there will be more Ginetta G50 action on our screens this year!

Other races that Tony may be racing in include:
- The Classic LeMans
- Britcar 24hr at Silverstone
- 6hr Historic at Spa Francorchamps

The Classic Le Mans will be taking place on the 10th/11th of July. Tony has been invited to share a drive in an Austin Healey 100S at this prestigious event.

Tony  hopes to also race alongside his Speedworks Motorsport Team at the Britcar 24hr in early October 2010 in the team's Ginetta G50. The race takes place at the UK's racing show-piece Grand Prix circuit, Silverstone.

Our MD will also be competing in the Circuit de Spa Francorchamps again with Speedworks Motorsport, driving a Sunbeam Tiger. The race circuit at Spa is widely recognised as the hardest track that remains on the F1 calendar, meaning it should be one hell of a race for Tony!
