Help

If you are having difficulty finding the information that you require, this page should help you to locate it, and to solve other problems you may encounter with the web pages.

1. Moving around the website

To make it as easy as possible to find your way around the website, the Main Menu bar will appear on all website pages so that you can easily navigate from one tab to another.

If you wish to return to the previous page that you viewed, you should use the 'back' button on your web browser, which is usually a button marked with an arrow pointing to the left.

To move quickly to a particular part of the web site, you may also use the Site Map, which can be accessed from all pages of the website.

Where a link is present, a hand symbol will appear when you scroll across the link with your cursor.

2. Account set-up and management

It is possible to set up a Hughes Safety Showers account which will allow you to access certain areas of the website exclusive to registered users and download certain secured documents.

This service also enables you to request further relevant information we may deem of interest to you, and provides a quick and easy method for you to update your contact details when necessary so that our customer records are up-to-date.

When you try to access registered user’s pages or download a document during a session, you will be asked to either log in or register.

To register you will need to provide the user details requested and create a password.

After initial registration, you can log in to your account by clicking LOGIN in the top right-hand corner of the page, and can amend your contact details by clicking on MY ACCOUNT once you have logged in.

3. Downloading secure items

To download secure items such as documents relating to the individual products (Drawings; Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals; Data Sheets etc) you will need to register as a new user or log in if you have already done so.Please refer to point 2, “Account Set-Up and Management” for help on doing this.

Most of the documents available are in 'Portable Document Format', often shortened to PDF. This requires Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 5 and higher) to view and save the text. The majority of computers have Acrobat Reader already installed. Just click on the download link and you will be prompted to either open or save the file. Upon Opening the file, Acrobat Reader should automatically start up. If you don't have Acrobat Reader v5, you can download it from the Adobe website. Click here to go to the Acrobat download page.

If you wish to save a copy of the document, once the file has downloaded, choose 'File' and select 'Save a Copy' from the drop-down menu. Choose a location on your hard drive where you want to save the file.

4. FAQs
